Sacred Grove sightseeing

Have you ever wondered what Sacred Grove looks like ? Well , here is your chance to find out ! First , I am going to introduce you to the map and all it's features !

As you can see , this is the map of Sacred Grove . With it's help you can get around faster , but there isn't a warp stone for all the areas which means , you will have to uncover some of them on foot . Those who do not have a warp stone are usually the hidden villages and they open up an entire new collection if you find them :)
As you can see there are three main areas : Southern Wilds , Central Wilds and Northern Wilds . Here you will find a lot of places . The main ones which have warp stones are : Sanctuary , Seaside Village , Lakeshore , Shrouded Glade , Merryvale ,Blackspore Swamp ,  Briarwood , Briarheart  and Snowhill .
These have their own special mark like for instance the purple and black tree on the map is the sign for Blackspore , and the purple root is a sign for Briarwood . Also you will find alot of other marks on the map like race track areas, battle areas and mini game tables for cooking and board games , along with a mark for fishing that is marked as a fish on a small wave :)
There is also a new addition to the map that was recently uncovered . It's Sunstone Valley , previously known as Stormfront Mountains .

As you can see this is Sunstone Valley , but to discover it you have to through it's entrance near the sparkling tree at the Wizard's Academy in Shrouded Glade. This way you will unlock the first warp stone but to get to the main one you have to defeat all kinds of creatures along the way , because the only way to get to it is on foot . On this map the first unlocked warp stone is marked , it is the one you unlock when you discover the entire area by finding the entrance . Once that is done you can at least enter on its beginning faster than going to it on foot. You can also find the Mysterious Merchant here . He is a huge snail with stuff on his back and gives you a discount at the Marketplace.

SEASIDE SIGHTSEEING !

Okay , so this is going to be a little tour of the Seaside Village which is the most crowded place in the summer period . This is the part of Sacred Grove that's called Southern Wilds along with Greenwood Forest and a few other places below on the map. Anyways, it goes out to the open sea as the name itself suggests and has two sandy beaches from which one is haunted by two ninja ghosts , but it's prettier and it has jumping platforms :) On it's beginning there is a warp stone like in any other mainland in Sacred Grove . There is a hotel , the Seaside Inn and a few houses from the locals who live there :) Before the last update of the game there used to be a playground and on the top a pirate ship which had a chest with a 100 coin reward for each day only per one player once a day . However the playground there and the one in Sanctuary were removed and the ship was grounded in the sea where you can still find the treasure chest with the reward . Here are also the coins from the rare and elite exploration and also the coins you get for discovering places around in Seaside like the hotel , or the pet adoption center .

Snowhill Sightseeing!

Alright you guys, I've caught up with what I've been doing around here and here we go to....Today we're going to Snowhill ( kind of ). Now that you're in the loop about the game coming back for real, you'll need this stuff, especially If you're joining in just now. So here, firstly let's see the zoomed in version of Snowhill on the map ( check out where it is on the first map at the beginning of this page).

So, as you former players might notice this is an older version of the map, but basically not much was changed. I tried looking for a newer zoomed in version of the Snowhill part, but I couldn't so, this is what I had. Anyways, this is the place from where all the holiday cheer comes from. You could go there in the middle of summer and still experience winter and candy cones no matter the season. However, what you cannot do is get Christmas presents in any time other than Christmas time. Yes, there is a Christmas tree that stood in the center of the place and every year at Christmas you'd come back day after day doing mini quests to collect your daily Christmas gift. It would usually be cookies, that would turn you in ornaments, Snowman or anything else that's got Christmas written all over it. Also, you could get Christmas-themed clothes which was pretty cool. ( As you can notice I don't know which tense to use, because the game isn't dead anymore lol ). Alright, now let's take a look at the entrance aka the archway with the symbol of Snowhill which as you can se is a purple mountain with snow on the top.

As I previously mentioned, this looks like this all the time, no matter the season. But the special events are only on the actual Christmas Eve and days before and after. Okay, now let's take a look at what it actually looks like being in this area. Before I show you, I'd add that out of pure fun I'd always mind what my character Stargem wore when she was there, you could practically go with shorts but, I always made sure she had a hat and gloves on her and also boots which I practically wore everywhere for everything.

SNOWHILL OVERVIEW - PRETTY RIGHT?

THE EVIL SNOWMEN RAGING AND STEALING THE CHRISTMAS GIFTS, MAN
THEY WERE SUCH A PAIN AND THEIR GIANT CREATOR TOO.

THE CHRISTMAS TREE AT THE CENTER OF THE
AREA, WITH ALL THE PRESENTS OF COURSE XD
Alright, you saw the Snowmen right?? Well, I'll remind you of them. Back in 2014, just before Free Realms announced its closure there was an event during the holidays ( in real life, like the actual Christmas and New Year ). They had created evil Snowmen to attack the Christmas tree and steal presents. There was a giant Snow beast thingy you needed to beat in order to make those annoyances disappear. However, you wouldn't succeed alone since he was really powerful. They had this done for all the other areas too, each of them had their own evil genius aka menace that needed to be dealt with. But this was all because of that dark overlord remember? Anyways, I'll tell you about the others in the other sightseeing posts.
Back to the good stuff, you could have snowball fights and sorta skate as well, all on a frozen lake. You could also fish on the same lake, by clicking the bucket that was standing near a cracked hole in the water. There was also the challenge of finding all those coins hidden around and with it discovering all the hidden spots in this area. I always thought it was way more fun to go everywhere on foot in this game than to use the teleporters. There was always more to see and do when you'd just go on foot. It'd take a longer time, but you'd wind up finding amazing stuff along the way, like new areas that are not on the map without warp stones, junk piles full of all kinds of things and quests for cool prizes.

Well, that's the Snowhill tour. Catch you guys next time with another sightseeing post! Have fun!
